February Gold Star 2025
Our February Gold Star, Ms. Debbie Lockey, is a true life-saving hero! Ms. Lockey is a Bus Driver for Bossier Parish, specifically in the Plain Dealing community. She has served Bossier Parish for over 30 years and recently she saved one of her young passenger’s lives! Ms. Lockey’s quick action and calm demeanor was instrumental in her assisting a choking student on one of her bus rides. She was able to move the bus to a safe spot and jump into action to help the child in distress. Thank you for your courageous efforts and congratulations again to Ms. Lockey on being our February 2025 Gold Star!!!
January Gold Star 2025
Shining bright as our first Gold Star recipient of the new year is Bossier Parish Schools’ Jason Kunath. He keeps our students & teachers connected in the Technology Department. Benton High School Principal Whitney Clark put it best in her nomination by saying “Our district is lucky to have such a hard-working, dedicated individual serving our staff and students” and we couldn’t agree more!
