Dec Gold Star 2025
🌟 Congratulations to our December Gold Star Winner- Officer Colton Hunter! 🌟 This is only the second year Off. Hunter has been the SRO for Stockwell Elementary School and has already made a massive impact. Nominations poured in from teachers, parents and administrators alike.
Nov Gold Star 2025
What a better way to start the Thanksgiving holiday than by surprising our November Gold Star! Kristy Davis is the Curriculum Coordinator at Bossier Instructional Center (BIC) and supports teachers all across the district.
Oct Gold Star 2025
Congratulations to our October Bossier Schools Gold Star, Ms. Erin Aswell from Elm Grove Elementary School. Erin has been a tireless advocate for her students’ needs & worked so hard to bring the vision of an upgraded sensory lab to life. That vision became a reality with a grand opening on October 14 & we were fortunate enough to get a grand tour when we surprised her.
Volunteer- Team Building Day
Our annual Volunteer-Team Building Day was an absolute blast! Our team served at eight different local non-profits. We love serving our community!
Red River Revel 2025
Our team enjoyed a beautiful day at the 49th Annual Red River Revel volunteering. Community service is at the heart of the credit union philosophy of People Helping People.
Annual BPSB Cookie Cakes
Nothing kicks off the school year better than a sweet treat! Our Marketing team delivered over 40 cookie cakes to every Bossier Parish Schools campus to wish them a great start to the school year!
Bowling Night
We work hard, but we play harder! It’s always a fun team building night at Holiday Lanes.
Retired Teachers Luncheon
Our support for our educators doesn’t stop when they retire! One of our favorite events to support is the annual Bossier Parish Retired Teachers Association luncheon. This year we provided a flat screen tv as a raffle prize!
Food Drive
This year’s food drive benefited St. George’s Episcopal Church’s food pantry & The Hub’s Lovewell Center. We are so proud to work with such a generous group of people who continually give back to our community.
Honeybee Day
We were so excited to celebrate National Honey Bee Day at the Shreveport Farmers Market this year. We treated market shoppers to free honey sticks and talked about the importance of savings young with our Bossier Buzz Club.
BYL Kickoff
Our partnership with the Bossier Chamber on the Bossier Youth Leadership program continues for another spectacular year! We kicked off the 2025-2026 year with a wonderful dinner and program.
Backpack Giveaway
Bossier Federal Credit Union was proud to be a title sponsor of Alpha Media’s annual Back Pack Giveaway. Over 500 students received much needed school supplies, back packs & free hair cuts.
2025 Scholarship Winner
We are pleased to announce Airline High School senior, Emma Roberts, as our annual scholarship winner. Emma will be attending LSU in the fall. Way to Geaux!
United Way’s Day of Caring
Bossier Federal Credit Union participated in this year’s Day of Caring by volunteering at Highland Clinic. What a fun day to serve our community.
